Privacy Alert

http://www.118800.co.uk/removeme/remove-me.html

A new telephone directory of peoples mobile numbers is being launched. This means that accesss to your number will not only be available to the people that you have given it to, but to anyone who knows your name. They do not give your number out directly but forward messages from the enquirer to your mobile. This means that you can be pestered as you won't be able to block people, and whilst te charges for individual enquiries might limit this, it is likely that bulk discounts will be given to companies who buy access to thousands of numbers, and will use it for advertising or "informercial" purposes.

If you do not want to be listed in the directory, you have to opt out NOW before it is published. Go to this link www.118800.co.uk/removeme/remove-me.html and enter your mobile number. you will get a text with a code which you then enter into the site immediately to confirm that you have the mobile and are not entering someone elses number.
